Simone Biles and Other Stars Shine in the Stands as Indiana Fever Defeat Connecticut Sun

The Indiana Fever’s thrilling 84-80 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night attracted not just a large crowd but also a host of star athletes and celebrities. Among the 17,274 fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse was gymnastics legend Simone Biles, who cheered on the Fever as they secured the win.

Biles wasn’t the only star in attendance. TV icon David Letterman, retired Iowa women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder, Olympic gold medalist sprinter Gabby Thomas, and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson were also spotted enjoying the exciting matchup.

The Fever’s victory, fueled by Caitlin Clark’s record-breaking performance, made for an unforgettable night both on and off the court, as some of sports’ biggest names gathered to witness the action firsthand.
